Picking a name?

Hi. Im very new to Elite and noticed that when i play mulitplayer my name is just backer xxxx. Can i actually pick a name for my pilot yet? Thanks :S

Hi and welcome to the forums.
Iam not sure how that commander names work to preserve a name, but I think it has something to do what amount you pledged for.
So if you log into your account it should be a tab there to tell you to choose a commander name.

Good call but vague description,,, :D

It means if you change your name, the progress you have accomplished in game, in multiplayer, will be reset. back to basic sidewinder whit 1000 cr.
