I wondered why it isn't possible for the Player to pick up a weapon of a fallen enemy.
In multiple occasions I ran out of Ammo and just ran away from the enemies to the nearest Ammo Box just to click on 'e' and reload and continue firing. How about you can pick up a weapon as a one time thing. Even in a basic flight suit you should be able to pick it up and fire a Machine gun or a MP by just picking it up and as soon as you're switching to your other weapon it would fall to the ground again.
The Gameplay Loop of: "Running away to search ammo just to fire again" would be nearly gone. It's especially frustrating if you're in a Combat suit and all boxes are inside a shutdown settlement.
My idea would be: Make it possible to pick up a weapon with it's ammo the NPC should have but can't be replenished. And as soon as you're switching to your main Guns or equipment the player would drop it again, because he has no space to stow it.
Any other ideas on this specific topic?
