Like reading all the reviews...but would love to see your HOTAS in action, especially if you are like me and, after working at a desk all day, fly by the seat of your couch at night.

Looking to visualize some good ideas :)

Couch flyer here.
I just plug in a 2mt USB extension lead and plonk the Hotas on my lap and play.
No fancy setup, it works really well on your lap.
I also a use wireless headset for sound and chat, and a USB keyboard for comms.
Hotas has made my Elite controller redundant for playing ED.

It all still makes me smile having gone back to PC and dragged myself out of the couch and into my comfy executive purple leather game chair in front of a hacked up old kitchen table I use as a computer desk in a cupboard under the stairs... that you guys are still determined to remain desk-less and perpetual lounge lizards [haha]

Nowt wrong with resting your prize HOTAS on a flat and non moving surface I say...

My wife and eldest daughter would mercilessly take the out of me if I got one of these things so the bog standard Xbox one controller will just have to do.

Now if I could figure out how to get rid of the wife and kids.... 🤔

Well... for the kids it wasn't actually hard... I've bought another XBOX (360) and plugged it to the bed room tv. So I can play in the living room on my 55" whilst the kids enjoy some Disney's Lego crapware on the 24". Wife required another approach, as she doesn't like vg at all... so I've bought an iPad and added Netflix/SKY Go and another couple of on-demand tv-series streaming services.

Ok, it costed a bit... but it does work! :D

Just bought a back-lit compact usb keyboard so headset doesn't have to go through the little chatpad witch was causing bad/noisy feedback for my wingmates.
