Pilot from any seat

I would like to be able to sit in any of the seats in ships that have more than one seat, ie any multicrew compatible ships..

Look at the Asp Explorer, it would be great to be able to pilot from the bottom seat, to get a different view. And this is not the only ship that have seats at different levels...
In those ships where you sit side by side, you could choose if you want the left or right seat. Like how it is n the Adder and Python, to name two of these variants.

There might be other alternative locations where we could pilot our ships from, like the area in the front of the Anaconda, "teh observation deck", here the view when exploring or mining could be spectacular, compared to the regular location.

I do get that some locations are pretty bad to pilot from, like in the Corvette, but the choice would be ours to pilot form there.

And just for the fun of it, there could be some animations when our pilot switches seat, like "floating" over to the other seat, when we have no "gravity" to rely on, and when docked, our pilot have to walk/climb to the other seat.... so the change is not instant, it takes some time to actually switch seats.

Bottom of the list indeed, but if they really intent to add space legs, they might as well add an ability to sit on any of the bridge seats and pilot the ship from there... and teleporting to the seats to those who don't get the expansion.

Agreed, OP! The top rear bridge configuration had never made sense to me in a spacecraft; it only makes sense in a surface ship. Flying the Anaconda from the observation deck would be GLORIOUS.

I'd like to see what the top of the Mamba feels like too.

If you want to fly the anaconda from there just use the beluga. The beluga turns better and can carry more without losing much range anyway.
