If you mean each time you load, you can't. You get the one in the FD database either from the kickstarter or later.

I know that there are now over 10,000 players (and counting) in the beta so there are lots of people to get through but roughly how long should it take to get your commanders name approved or rejected. I've read posts on places like facebook where people are saying they got theirs in about 10 minutes. I picked mine on the thread above this morning as soon as the beta went live but haven't had any word either way from Frontier.
