So I jumped into a few systems, exploring. trying to find trading spots.

When I noticed the wonderful glowing red WANTED icon. Apparently wanted by the Federation and Federal friendly.

WHAT DID I DO?! I ain't even shot anyone yet!

I got my ass into the first non full space facility I could find to pay it off. But it was a 300c Pilot's Federation bounty?

How exactly does one get pilot's federation bounties cos I'm lost here.

You probably forgot to pay a little 400cr fee, maybe for trespassing, after 24 hours I believe, you become wanted because the little fee became a full-on bounty.

I'm pretty sure that Pilot's Federation bounties as they are in the DDF are not implemented yet.
You can still get bounties in the jurisdiction of the Pilot's federation though - the Independent Shinrarta Dezhra system which is ruled by that faction.

Or do you mean that you have to contact the pilot's federation to clear the bounty? You have to do that for all bounties.

It was probably some fine you got without noticing - after 24 hours they turn into bounties.
