It would be really handy to see where I've been and what I traded when I was there.

Some way of being able to retrace your steps or compare the profitability of routes you've travelled on should be possible in-game without needing a little notebook and pen on your desk - this breaks immersion and would be difficult with an OR headset.

For example: I struggled to get out to a remote system as part of a trading mission, but noticed the cheap gold prices. After upgrading from a Hauler to a Cobra I wanted to go back, but really struggled to find the place on the galaxy map.

Apparently things like this are coming in future builds along with other things for the galaxy map.

It would be a nice feature. I've been trying to keep log of sorts in Excel but find it very immersion breaking to jump out of the game to make entries. In addition to recording trades it would be useful to have a record of systems/stations visited, ship/upgrade purchases etc. There are a lot of possibilities but for me a trade log would be the most useful.
