Pimax Artisan - when I hit recenter HMD, it centers a few degrees to the right

Anybody else have this issue? I read somewhere that it might have to do with Pimax using panels that are set at a slight angle to each other (there's two, as opposed to just one). I am not sure about that though. I have tried redoing room setup in Steam VR and that did not help. Does anybody know of any specific config files that might have an offset setting for for the recenter HMD command.

In DCS World I had a problem that my head was too low, but the sim there provides the tools to enter an offset that corrects for this. I have not found anything like that in Elite.

Currently I am manually correction by looking slightly to the right as I recenter. Not ideal though.

I have this issue both in Horizons and Odyssey.

I have to do that on my rift s as well I think everyone has a little different perspective.
Thanks for letting me know I am not the only one experiencing this. Maybe its not my headset then. However, I have to correct by quite a lot and I didn't have to when I was using my HTC Vive. So I am not sure its my face shape.

Is this only with the centering, or does it also affect your head-aim, so that your focus for highlighting markers is offset to the left, by that much?

I do have one of the wide Pimax headsets here, but I don't recall having the particular problem you describe with Elite: Dangerous... Might try plugging it in tomorrow and have a looksee... Don't know of any offset modifiers in the game...

The canted-screen-related cause you mention, would be the game centering for the left eye camera transform, instead of the head transform, and would be related to how some games miscalculate their culling frustums, by not including the canting in the calculation, and ending up with a 20° vertical strip to the right, where things pop in- and out out of existence; Intended behaviour - just too early. :7

It does not seem to affect my aim. Only the direction the camera is pointing in. I compensate by looking a bit to the right while I recenter, and that solves the issue. Would be nice to not have to do that though. 20 degrees is about right with what I am experiencing. Things don't seem to pop in and out of existence though. Simply, the camera is pointed the wrong way.
