yes i know that...but my point was, the information you get in the game is confusing and made me think i can just apply the blueprint to what i fly and have installed when visiting the engineer.

as i understand it now, i can come with any ship and pin a blueprint and use that blueprint for any other ship/part

You pin the blueprint so you can access it remotely, so you can work on upgrades or apply it later on to any other modules it applies to without having to always return to the engineer.
