Hi guys,
I just wanted to gather some cadmium for some zoom zoom drives and discovered candy land! Yeah I know, for most explorers it's probably nothing new but it's the first pink planet surface I've found after seeing hundreds of beige ones!
Even the dust is pink!
Esthetics aside, it seems to be a nice place, found Cadmium, Arsenic and Zirconium there. I wonder if there is more of the rarer stuff in places where there a those pink veins or are these just cosmetics and the yields are the same on the whole planet? Are cadmium rich planets often having these colors?
On a side note... I was never a very big fan of the SRV... until I did the Guardian Stone mission and had to master it to not get crazy and not waste weeks on it. And now I probably love it more than flying ships in the game. To be honest, the driving/jumping model is really fantastic, you just need to set the controls right, so you can easily steer the SRV during long jumps. So much fun
