Pipes and Cables for Utilities

It would be great to have the option to lay pipes and power cables to connect different areas of the zoo to centralised power/water treatment areas. It doesn't makes sense to have to plop individual solar panels and water treatment tanks all around your zoo to cover their limited working range, rather than placing them in clusters to handle demand/capacity and then connecting to different areas of the zoo through cables and pipes.

I agree, No Zoo would have that many power and water buildings. It makes more sense to lay down pipes and cables running off a main power/water grid.

Either that or they need to think industrial in size.. because these little things won't cut it. It doesn't help that the visitors complain about the power buildings either.. It makes it hard to place and have convenient power source..

(Already tried solar panels where they were out by guest's. They complained about seeing the building.)

Actually, my guests don't complain about the solar panels, but they have the downside of having the smallest area of effect of all power facilities. It's kinda strange to have to place like five separate power facilities around a large habitat just to be able to power things like lights or heaters/coolers or education items. It would also really help with not having to assign mechanics all over the place, but rather have power facilities at a centralized location (the same goes for the water purifiers).
