Pipishot water & Cosmic cow

I have about three-four Pipshot water and the same amount of Cosmic cow's. They seem to get all the sales, as in the other stores does not make profit, at all. Does anyone know why this is? i'd love to have an evenly spead out shop, but they all go to Pipshot water and Cosmic cow, and even complain when the line is too long, the other shops are just one grid size away... i'm not sure if this is a bug, or if they all picky picky AI's?

I'm curious about the differing vendor appeal as well. Might throw in a few more Cosmic Cow's tho, if the peeps are keen.

Do you mean your drink stands are getting all the people and other stands like food and merchandise are not? Or that Pipshot and Cosmic Cow are getting it all and other drink stands are not?

Peeps will go for drinks if they're thirsty, but won't go for food if they're not hungry. I believe they only buy merchandise if they're otherwise happy and have money available (I think, please correct me if I'm wrong!). They seem to always be thirsty! But I have noticed they will crowd and line up for one Gulpee and ignore the other Gulpee next door (while complaining they have to wait a long time at the one they're in line for :/ )

I like grouping my brands together, but noticed that this is really ineffective it would be really nice if guests had a preference.

With that being said, in my desert/tropical zoos Pipshot water makes a small fortune.

It's not just pipshot water.

I had an info Kiosk that had a front and back right next to each other. Guests would pile up at the first one and act like the one behind it didn't exist. Then they would complain about how long the line was.

Guests have a major problem "seeing" vendors and I think they also have a major problem "seeing" tables. This is why food courts do not work. They will only sit on a table and eat that is right next to the food stall. 3 tiles way? Nope. No idea it's there.

It's a big problem in my opinion. You can have 2 gulpee stands within 2 tiles from one another the exact same stand and they'll stack on the first one because it's the first one they "see". They completely ignore the other one.

Meanwhile, they can "see" animals from far away.

I think it's more about placement to get the attention of visitors then the actual brand/product being sold when it comes to food and water, though I know the brand/product does definitely matter. The Biome of the zoo also effects that. Coffee doesn't sell as well in a zoo that is hot as compared to one that is cold, for example.

In my current zoo, which is African Savannah, PipShot Water, Gulpee Soda and Gulpee Slush are all super popular, with the Slush winning in terms of overall sales. Milkshakes on the other hand aren't doing well at all.

I've never had much luck getting traction with a Missy Goods doughnut shop so haven't even placed any in my current zoo....but I'm wondering if it would be more popular near a coffee stand in a colder climate zoo... LOL

I never have a problem with making my shops popular. They always force me to alter my prices ans train the vendors like mad. Nobody likes the Info shop though, unless it rains.

Ps, the ATM around the corner is popular too. I guess I need to find a better place for that. On the other hand, these people there can't mess up my zoo
