I just took a piracy mission in Diso for 21 consumer tech. I have come to the conclusion that the mission will be impossible for me to complete. Why?
I found the mission USS and dropped in. There was the target, a big, fat, juicy Type 7. I attack him, immobilized him by destroying his power plant, and went in to deploy hatch breakers. When I did, ONE consumer technology canister came out, alongside 7-8 animal meat and water. If he has a lot of cargo, it would take FOREVER to get to all of the technology I need. besides, this was in Diso, so it was medium security - 1-2 minutes in order to conduct piracy. Police are not something you can fight and hope to make any profit out of during a heist.
I am going to lose rep and decrease the influence of the faction I've been working for, The Code, again, because of this flaw. Please fix.
Suggestions to fix:
- Make NPC mission targets drop the required cargo once they are damaged enough, or are immobilized via power plant or drive, or some other specified way to intimidate them has been achieved.
- Make NPC mission targets carry only the mission cargo.
- Allow specific mission targets to drop cargo upon destruction.
