I've been searching for an hour now but can't find the info I'm looking for...I swear I read a post not too long ago regarding PvE Piracy. In it someone posted having good finds relating to system economies. Ex: High Tech having ships with Scientific Samples and Boom/Lockdown having ships carrying Rare's! Can't find it now though...

They could always bring out a paintjob with 'Canned Tuna' scrawled on the side of it...
Was a lucky hit or they changed something recently. Did quite a few NPC robbery’s, especially when waiting for real customers, and never had NPC's carry lots of value. Got this scientific samples myself a few times, but never more then one or two tons. T9's with higher ranks had always a few tons of gold, but that was it mostly with NPC pirating.

It'll have to be dolphin friendly tuna though
My 18 scientific samples all came from that keelback, the rest came from a multitude of other targets ranging from a type-6, type 7 and I think a got a bulk of bio waste from a wanted type 9 with about 10t of super conductors as well.
It's pretty much luck. I cargo scan, if it has less than 40t of decentish cargo, I may leave it be, unless it's carrying slaves or imp slaves, or anything over a value of 10k p/t
