Piracy.

I loved pirating LTD from npcs but agreed it was all a bit too easy.

The new mechanic that sees them spinning off in to the black is excellent and realistic but a total nightmare to counter.

I propose space harpoons! Large slot only and perhaps limited to 3 shots. Limited range of 200m or so...
 
I meant to capture and bring the ship to a standstill so you can use your limpets. A little gameplay can be added by making sure you don’t overdo tension, blue line the slow down otherwise they ping off again.
 
I think this would be cool. If it's too difficult for Frontier to implement, maybe they could give us "anchor limpets" that attach to the hulls of enemy ships and slow them down.

Speaking of, here's a stupid question - what happens if you use drag munitions on a ship that is drifting? I know this shouldn't work, but it might work to slow them down, depending on how Frontier coded them. Of course the trick is not to destroy the ship. "One missile only, please!"
 
Harpoons are cool and all, but one has to manage expectations and think of easier way.
