Having had a really good look at the movement, I have to agree with you, that they are not actually animatronic as such. They are just like the rest of the guests, that have been animated. There's no way that those are animatronics.
Three more weeks...
Hmmm ... I agree that they are "too well animated" to be considered like "robots" but we still see very well the hatched and repetitive movements no ?Having had a really good look at the movement, I have to agree with you, that they are not actually animatronic as such. They are just like the rest of the guests, that have been animated.
The movement too fast and not robot style like Animatronics have. They shake too strong, if they should be animatronics, they would get much time out of commission in real, because these shaking actions with their bodies, no figure, even the modern ones, could do that for long [big grin]
The ape's face reactions are not realistic too for an animatronic.
But it comes near to it. If they should be animatronics i would suggest to the developers to watch some videos in youtube there you can see how such figures move right.
I agree. Now the animatronics are amazing.I'd agree with you if this were the 90s. It's 2016, have you seen how far we've come with technology in animatronics?
I agree. Now the animatronics are amazing.
But, upon reflection, maybe it's better to be more into caricature, to show that it is an animatronic just to avoid confusion ?
Just a thought...
I dont know.

Not "would be", but "is" !I don't really see how "confusion" would be a problem here. Animatronics are typically placed in restricted areas and repeat movements
Yeah, this is what I said with "They are 'too well animated' to be considered as robots" [yesnod]It is not about how it looks, it looks very good. It is about how they move [...]

Thank you so much. It's honestly not as big a deal as people make it out to be. Since this is a CHC "leak" I don't really know the backstory for it...but 90% of the things people complain about aren't as big a deal as they make it out to be. So far the only valid- Planet Coaster specific- complaint has been with regards to the interior designer and how the walls don't connect to the paths- leaving a gap where you can see the grass.
What truly annoys me is how people keep treating this game as if it's a some sort of Disneyland simulator.
"Disneyland this- Disneyland that-" "It's not like that in Disneyland. blah blah blah."
Petition Disney if you want a Disneyland simulator, otherwise learn to appreciate Planet Coaster for what it is- A spiritual successor to the beloved RCT franchise. etc. etc.
Sure. Because of this :Would you care to explain why you replied to Milkman's post with an annoying gif since you're so enlightened about sim games?
I was just ... speechless reading this comment ...It's honestly not as big a deal as people make it out to be.
