Pirate spawn mechanics?

So I found that planetary rings seemed to be the best place to bounty hunt. Went out to the edge of the populated area to do bounty hunting and at first it was almost entirely cobras at 10-18, each, just nonstop, just shooting them down one after another with no downtime, it was pretty good. The next day it was again mostly cobras, except now there was also a pretty constant stream of anaconda's worth 80-150k, I was killing 2-3 of them on every trip, generally returning with 400k credits before I inevitably graze a police ship and have to return.

Then the next day... just sidewinders... the occasional cobra, but not many, no anacondas. I went looking in other belts in other systems, low influence, high influence... didn't seem to matter.

Does anyone know anything about the spawn mechanics, because I'm pretty confused?

From my experience: When you enter an instance/location you trigger different dangerous sequences of ships. Which one you trigger seems random. However chances seems to increase for more dangerous ones when you leave and rejoin the instance several times.
It seems to me that they are still finetuning this and trying to make it even more random and less usable for exploiting (with the reset method)

I can't tell much about Nav-Beacons and Rings. I really hate to have to hunt with 100 polices crafts. My haunting ground are the mining clusters.
When I start I often have to do the reset a large number of time that I get an enemy spawned which wasn't so troubelsome earlier. And then often it starts with very small ships and instand jumps to dangerous large ships with almost no middle ships anymore. That wasn't the case earlier it was incresing smooth. A bit a pitty because the middle ships were the most interesting to me. I fly a Cobra.
Also often it triggers 2 or 3 spawn chains in parallel instead 1 only like earlier. That's not so bad. It makes every case a bit unique but can be tough in case you have to fight all 3.
I am selective hunting. I only kill wanted from a specific faction in a specific system that has 2 factions only. I want to see what happens. The cluster location works well for this. I honestly don't get why people are missing this out. For me the clusters are the best hunting grounds you can have. Just switch report crimes off and you can hunt alone. And as long as ppl still think it's nav beacons and extraction sides only you also don't have to worry about other players.

Also try uninhabited A belts.
You may wanna check this out though. And I doubt that you can get that unfriendly status by just hunting. You have to make them hate you with missions. I've never seen a kill do anything with my rep unless I got a bounty on me.
