Pirate Station service: Clear "stolen" tag from cargo

Found my first pirate base, recently. Went aboard to find nothing but a black market. Pirate bases should offer something that's unavailable on legal ones, in my opinion. Clearing the "Stolen" tag from your cargo would be a nice service I'd pay a modest fee for under certain circumstances.

Bad idea, there shouldn't be a stolen tag on legitimate salvage items to begin with. This is probably my biggest pet peeve with the game so far as it flies in the face of centuries of naval tradition, international treaties, and established laws. Salvage from international waters, or open space as outer space is also considered international waters currently (and by extension uninhabited star systems), are property of the finder. I hate coming across 'ancient artifacts' only to have to leave them behind because some otherwise bright developer decided all abandoned cargo is stolen. :p One of the advertising blurbs for explorer is finding those artifacts and returning them. Can't do that if they are stolen! You get fined at least 2x their sell price!

The first time I came across artifacts I got scanned returning to a station. It wiped out my entire profit for that exploration run! Lesson learned: sell your cargo rack if you're an explorer till this is fixed. Not worth the fines, nor pirate annoyances for carrying any cargo, if you're an explorer.

Now, if you're a *pirate* and actually murdered a pilot/crew to get that cargo, that's understandable why you'd want to 'retag' it. But legitimate salvage... no way!

Legal salvage aside, removing stolen tags from stolen cargo was originally in the DFF documents, exactly as you've described you can buy a fake ID chip in certain stations that make cargo show up as something else.
