Pirate Viper Mk3 vs Bounty Hunter FDL (PvP of course)

I wasn't expecting this. All I wanted was to dock and clear my bounties.

Mistakes:
1. No High Wake pre-loaded
2. Trying to fight a solid FDL in a wounded Viper Mk3
3. I cheaped out on the life support system to save power
4. "Destination Target Obscured"; I'm about to die, are you kidding me?!

Lucky:
1. For some reason the bounty hunter couldn't see me after my thrusters were down
2. The landing pad in the target system was perfectly aligned, leaving me 23 seconds of air upon landing.

Hooray for viper! I have a very similar setup except i boost to 647 and I have packhounds with thermal cascade instead of rails. SDC hates heat weapons

You know, ramming a shielded FDL with a shieldless viper is usually a bad idea.

And, for the love all that is holy, practice you pip management! I can't stand watching you Viper take fire while you're fleeing with only 1 pip in shields

Kudos on the escape; I'm often in the same boat with my assault ship. It's too tempting to ram in it, but I always get a big repair bill...

OP, I do appreciate your courage and luck in that encounter, but no matter if you are a pirate or bounty hunter, mocking or verbally offending your opponent makes you a lesser person.
Plus people who use "U" instead of "you" make themselves look... well... eight years old.

AI with railguns have a 99% chance hit rate at the moment, and I believe this will be nerfed really hard on release of 2.3 - so no, you aren't a bad pilot like what some trolls said - the game's AI is currently cheating too much with aimbot (they have better aim than pr0 pl4yers).
