Right. How could I now I hate it if I hadn't done it?

I'd rather do a trip for Polonium and wait a month for a ship.
That's the beauty of this game. You can play it however you want which often means "totally differently than others".
Best and cheaper is to ram, easy, until will slow enough.@Kyle Stryker I struggled alot with piracy for a while. My problem was always trying to figure out how to slow the target down after shooting out the drives because how can you loot a ship tumbling at 400? I figured out the trick is to use a small cannon with force shell. You fly parallel to the target turn FA off and drift in front of it then shoot the force shell directly into the center of mass. You can't get it to stop completely but you can get the speed down to the low 20s quickly and reliably which is almost the same thing.
It's really not. A force shell can be equipped with minimal resources and after some practice you can stop a target within 30 seconds.Best and cheaper is to ram, easy, until will slow enough.
You already need a special weapons loadout. Who already limit your options. And you suggest ANOTHER especial weapon loadout, to limit even more your options ?! Lol....It's really not. I'm not talking about a general ship you use for anything I'm talking about a specialized piracy ship. Most ships in game have a minimum of 4 hardpoints. Priacy needs a minimum of 2 for the lazer and missile or rail gun. That leaves a minimum of 2 hardpoints on any given ship you would be using for that occupation. Plus alot of ships have a size 1 slot that's usually considered useless anyway. You already need a special weapons loadout. Who already limit your options. Flexibility is one of the most important attributes in a ship, the reason why best ships in-game are the most flexible ones.
