Had a call from deep space from my brother. He had been invited to do a trade of cargo with another CMDR but was suspicious of his true intentions.

Knowing that I wasn't far away I agreed to observe the deal from a safe distance in silent running just in case things went sour ;)

The cargo from both parties was dropped, then an accusation of breaking the deal "CMDR xxxx has deployed hard points" Soon after my brothers shields were offline and he was urgently requesting backup.

By the time I had got there my Cobra's shields had just come back online, his Eagle's on the other hand were taking a hammering from the gimballed cannons at my disposal ;)

He turned to run but it was too late, I wasn't about to show mercy to anyone who attacks family ;)

His screams of "you set me up....." smacked of double standards but made it all the sweeter !

Oh how we laughed and thanks for the silver btw ! :p

An some people say there no multiplayer functionality in this game. Here an example of multiplayer functionality. An imho how multiplayer should be done in this game.

Glad you had fun.

Hope I don't run into the commander that tried to con your brother.

Indeed bud, it was honestly a great moment ;) tbh I'd of been disappointed if it had ended peacefully but would of respected the outcome anyway.
The other CMDR didn't as he unfriended my bro straight after being turned to dust, hey ho :p

I'm feeling quite glad that there aren't any traffic lights in space. Next time I stop anywhere I'm going to keep my doors locked and the proverbial windows rolled up ;)

At this point you know something is wrong, if the guy was worried he'd been duped I'd imagine he'd want to talk a bit more before going all gung ho on your brother. Oh well that will teach him. Great tale, thanks for sharing.
