Parks Pirates Cove

Hey there :)
Welcome to my new project called "Pirates Cove". Since alpha I had this whole idea on my mind. I try to catch the Pirate and Tikichiki theme with this park. So on the island will be a lot pirate and more jungle themed areas along with a cave system. With the new features of the 1.4 update, I placed the spawning point form the guest to a different location: inside a pirate ship. So there is no path bridge from the old spawning point to the island. Now it is like the guests are already pirates or discoverer and they are coming out of the ship to discover the island.
As you can see on the picture, there will be a large harbour area, following by a small pirate themed town. I already added a pirate themed Coriolis to the entrance area.
I'll post more as I go along. See you real soon! :rex::face:

I really like the idea of the guests disembarking off the ship to arrive at the park. It would look cool if the ship was sitting in water. (just a thought). I also like the detail of the archway you have done. Keep posting updates, it would be nice to see this park's progress. Great job :)

Hey there :)
Just a quick update for you. As seen below, I started workin on the entrance area. I added the victory ride to the entrance area, because it just fits perfect in the scenery of the harbour.

I added some shops 4m in the air including some picnic tabels, so the guests have a great overview of the entrance area. In addition, the walls are seperating the harbour from the pirate's town.

Here you can see the first buildings of the pirate town.

This is the last picture for today. It shows the cave system, which is currently in progress. The screaminator can be spotted in the background of the picture.

I have to say, that I stopped working on many things after Frotnier announced the new adventure DLC, because it will perfectly fit in this park. So the next progress will be around next week after the new DLC is released. I hope you like this update of the park.
See you soon! :rex::smile:

Hey guys,
I made some progress which I want to share with you.

Jungle Temple
The idea behind this ride is, that there is an ancient temple complex deeper in the jungle which is explored by the guests.

The coaster is the hybrid Iron Fury. There are two inversions and a total airtime of 3.2 s.

I already started decorating the entrance area and the queue. The queue of the ride leads through two temples. In the first temple there is only decoration I need to build in the future. Inside the first temple the story of the temple complex is told to the guests. However I'm not quiet shure how to realise that.
The station of the coaster is implemented in the second temple.

On the following picture you can see the temple complex from above.

Tiki Land

The next area I started working on is the Tiki Land. It is themed with some Tiki statues and some ruins, which are overgrown by nature.

You can find some shops, the infinity ride, and a Giga coaster on the road through the Tiki Land.

Here another picture to show the theming of the Tiki Land. However it is not quiet finished as there is a lot of space to fill.

The last picture shows an overview of the park. You can spot the rolling river and the sundial on the top of the hill. However there is not more to show, because I just placed them and they need to be decorated in the future.

So yeah, thats all for this update. I'm currently working on the decoration of the coasters so stay tuned for further updates. :captlockjaw:

Hey hey, it's me again! :kingcoaster:
I'm currently writing my bachelor thesis so I had not much time for Planet Coaster in the past weeks. However I got some free time for Planet Coaster and I worked on this project.
I started building on the underwater area. On the following picture you can see the entrance of the underwater area.

So after going down a tunnel, there is this little cave with some fish "swimming" around and billboards playing some underwater themed loops however it is not finished yet.

After the cave the path leads in another cave system, which is more like a tunnel. On the right side, there are holes in the rocks and you got this view in this massiv cave area, as shown below. There is some kind of a ghost ship swimming in an underwater river.

Another area in the underwater themed area is the sunken city atlantis. As you can see on the picture below, I already built a Typhoon coaster and started theming the coaster station. In addition to the coaster, there will be a flat ride and some shops in the city. However it will take some time to finish.

I'll post more as I go along. See you soon! :rex::face:
