Well, it only shows that for the people that have actually responded to the poll. What about the many thousands of people that have backed and are not members of this forum or just lurk. They could all want to play pirate for all we know!

Id tinker with the idea of being a pirate but it's going to depend on the final release of the game and "how it feels" in the ED universe.

Could quite happily spend time in some backwater picking off NPC's and watching for the occasional trader or explorer i reckon.
