Newcomer / Intro Pirates, Wanted, I need targets!

So what's the best way to find Pirates and Wanted?
I'm in Anarchy, drop out of SC on a Nav point and zilch, nadda, nothing.
Except of course a load of clean AI shooting each other?
Occasionally I get a `Wanted` byt they are few and far between.

BTW how come I don't ever get bounty or pirate for AI that interdicts me. Surely not every one is this galaxy is law abiding?

The answer to your question is easy, you are in an anarchy system, it has no formal set of laws so everyone is clean. This means:

a) You are free to engage anyone you think might be a pirate.
b) If you want a bounty then you will have to use a Kill Warrant Scanner (this collated bounties on your target from other systems).

Well it's not really is it?

A pilot having a "wanted" status is wanted by the controlling faction of the system he is currently in.

If the system is in anarchy there are no controlling factions so nobody can be wanted, because there is no faction in charge of the current system to want them.

Aaand take note that
killing a pilot who's Wanted elsewhere will put a bounty on your head (unless in Anarchy, of course)
