Pirating the Booty

Just recently got into Pirating for booty in my Imperial Clipper. Loaded with enough internals for everything ya need & a few extras.
Last night hit a T6 Wanted,& scooped with limpet collectors cause I'm a lazy Pirate!, 21 scientific samples for a tidy some of 2,877.000
credits.
Did not think it was possible to make that much booty on one haul. Just curios as to what the biggest haul some of you Pirates have made in one haul ? [arrrr]

Was my third time out pirating,usually play 2 hours a night, got lucky third time out on the wanted T6, Just left station and tagged the T6 after firing up the game.
Didn't think to snap a screenie, was too busy wanting to unload my cargo at nearest black market to collect the booty in case of unfortunate occurrence as I play in open.
I know more credits to be had doing other things in game, but pirating is so much more fun, not as profitable, but its all about having fun in game opposed to grinding. [arrrr]

You're not a lazy pirate, you're a smart pirate. Work smarter, not harder!!!

I have two B3 collector limpet controllers in my piracy Clipper (4 limpets max for less cost, power, etc, and with more limpet range). I like to pirate CGs for role-playing purposes, so those limpets come in handy when I receive 50T...."donations" from Type-9s and Anacondas

Also, to answer your question, I don't make a lot pirating. Like I said, I pirate CGs, and always turn the goods into the CG. Not very profitable, but a lot of fun. I think the most I ever made in a single Hall was less than 200k, and that was for a lot of time and work.

Did you try the Cobra mrk3?

Yep Have a Cobra Mrk3 with pirate paint job. Used it at first for Smuggling . Great ship But prefer Clipper for Piracy. More internal slots for custom build.Got jumped by a Cmdr in a Python with Rails & Frag Cannons and escaped pretty easy but those weapons took shields out & 85% hull left. Clipper is still pretty fast with beefing shields & hull.

Limpet hatch breaker& collector is a nice asset on the clipper, Have not tried Cg's yet sounds like fun, will give it a go [arrrr]

They're not common, but I wouldn't say they were rare or scarce either.

That was as much as my python could carry in one go. In total that type 9 was carrying almost three times that. As it was a station instance, I docked, sold it and came back for more. That was about 30 million profit.

good to know, not knowing what cargo worth is a bit of a pain until its in your cargo hold and you can see galactic average other than gold an such
