Placable garden areas that attracting peeps.

So, one thing i miss in almost all park builders is gardens. Sure, there is scenery pieces, but peeps don't go there just to look at it.

What i think would be amazing is to have an invisible building/area functioning as a garden complex. This "building" would simulation wise function as a coaster(peeps go to it and have fun while there) with paths instead of tracks.

To make something a part of this garden you simply select it, and press edit, like you would on any other building! Although instead of the building menu, it brings up the scenery one.

There could be some objects specific to gardens, like special bush pieces, flower beds, or shops. Instead, you could just have a garden theme. Although, certain peeps might find gardens altogether too boring ;)

I'm not not on the forums regularly, so i probably wont update the post :D

This sort of thing would be perfect for mazes, fun houses and haunted houses too... Especially if we could incorporate things like mirrors, VFX/Scenery triggers, slides, Zip Lines and hanging rope bridges into it, as well as designated "viewing areas"

Ooh, i like that!

You could have the viewing areas be a special path "plaza" with benches. so the game could see: "PLAZA! must be something to look at..." and depending on what is designated as what(spooky, garden, coaster, spooky-garden-coaster) the peeps will look at different things? or you just say: "this area is spooky!" and the peeps react accordingly.

Although i like the idea of a big playground complex with rope bridges and... stuff!

I think we should be able to put that sort of thing in without having to define it as a fun zone, I think the guests should be made smart enough to see something fun and go to it anyway.

yeah, but with the building system as it is now, all of those "fun things" is merged inside of walls with 2 cm(0,7 inch?) sticking out. and they are EVERYWHERE. having designated "fun zones" allows all the weird things we use when building to... stay weird?

And there is that, at least to some extent, already implemented in the game, for example with rides and shops. But not with the scenery itself.

Although i think i get what you mean, and i also REALLY want that, i don't see how to do it.

Look at me, talking like i know things.

Children play areas wouldn't be scenery pieces they would be a under a tab like transport rides, coasters, miniature golf, etc.

as far as Guests being attracted to pretty scenery beyond just looking as they pass all they would need to create is a photo spot sign that we can place.

Perhaps include coin operated binoculars that can be placed along the path as well?

Ooh, maybe some of those cheesy mascot cutouts where the face is cut out and you stick your head in it for a photo op!
