Horizons Placebo or not 64 bit feels a lot more responsive under load.

It feels that 64 bit did wonders to the game. When using 32 bit and higher res in xml and reshade etc my galaxy map was crawling at times. And when coming into new system it felt like I was just gliding into the star cause there was strange lag in responsivines. It was aslways ok without all the tweaks. Now that we are using 64 bit and with all the tweaks, when coming into new system there is no lag at all. Ship is super responsive. My galaxy map in not lagging under heavy tweaks. Nice :)

I agree, and thats to be expected. 32 Bit client couldn't utilize my 16 Gigs of DDR3-2133 RAM, 64 bit can.

Btw, is there any stipulation to the horizons game? Do i still launch using the base Elite Dangerous Launcher in steam, or the Horizons launcher?

You can use Steam once you link your account to Horizons and then manually delete the FD version. Unless you like keeping 22GB of space used on your hard disk.

I meant that I have the Base game on Steam, and am going to buy Horizons on steam. Do i launch either of those? Or do I just launch Horizons? Is it okay if I upgrade to Horizons while out in unexplored space?
