planet coaster 2 lost progress

I do have an issue, and I’m hoping there’s a way to resolve it.

Shortly after the game’s release, I created a park and invested many hours into building it. Initially, I saved it manually a few times, but since I have autosave set to every 3 minutes, I didn’t create manual saves after every session. Recently, I downloaded and opened a blueprint park to take a look at it. However, this seems to have overwritten my autosave, and now my original park is gone.

Since the game autosaved multiple times during the building process, I assume my progress is still stored somewhere. Could you please let me know where I might find these files or how I can recover my original park?

Looking forward to any Reply <3

Saved Games are located here:
C:\Users\<YourName>\Saved Games\Frontier Developments\Planet Coaster 2\<YourSteamID>\Saves

But, you must be strong now... there is only one AutoSave in the game, across all Scenarios/Sandbox etc., so I'm afraid your original Park's progress is gone.

First of all, thank you so much for your response.

It’s unbelievable that the game saves every 3 minutes but doesn’t automatically keep a number of saved games. I really expected that, in 2024, this wouldn’t be an issue to recover. Unfortunately, for me, this marks the end of PC2 so many hours of work gone

You definitely have to save it manually. As soon as you go to a new park it will autosave THAT one.
(i didn't refresh the thread, sorry, didn't see the other response)
