Planet coaster app

For people who do not use a PC that often... Can you somehow port the game into an app form for android and iOS users. This will help to expand the community as more people can play planet coaster on the go!
Thanks

I hate to break it to you: But i seriously doubt that. There is simply not enough grunt in those Phones or Tablets. And besides: The Game is currently in Alpha. As in not finished yet. There would be no point releasing it on the mobile Market.

Is there a game like planet coaster for android users instead of rct 4 mobile as its quite limited.

There is a "port" of the original RCT3 for iOS that is reviewed as being pretty close to the original (no expansions) it looks the same visually but the controls are a bit clunky. I'm not sure if its on android though, might be iOS only? Not really a tablet user myself.

Also, Chris Sawyer is making an official port of RCT2 for tablets. I'm not sure when its coming out though, but I have high expectations for it being a good port. Oh, I guess its already available - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eomdIC8kOEs

A port of RCT3 was made for iOS recently. I'm not sure if it's being made for android and the app does cost money but it's pretty much the full game without in-app purchases which is nice. I think I heard something about how RCT 1 and 2 are being ported for mobile phones as well!

I just highly doubt that Planet Coaster will be available for mobile. Your average computer will hardly be able to handle it, let alone smartphones. If they do make an app at all, it'd probably be much later and won't be anything close to the full pc version unfortunately.

It is not only limited, it is a complete piece of Sh*t. Sorry, but it is true.

Yes, like Creaper said, there is a Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 Version for IOS Tablets. I like it very much.

What Chris Sawyer is working on a RCT2 for Mobile? Uuuh gimme gimme :D

If you're asking for a Planet Coaster mobile game then I think that needs to wait until after PC release to see if it's even worth it. The mobile gaming environment is much different from the PC gaming environment. There is a much wilder variety of hardware platforms to account for when going mobile. There's also the challenge of different business models. The entire project would likely need to be a whole new game. Maybe they could re-use some assets. I'm not sure the risk vs reward trade-off is worth it. Simulation games do not have a good track record on mobile. I'd even argue that mobile games hurt the IP they're attached to (see SimCity and RCT).

If you're asking for a Planet Coaster companion app then no -- it's a bad idea. Companion apps are nearly always garbage, poorly maintained, and forgotten after a short period of time. It's hard to even recall the last game I know of that had a companion app because they're all so forgettable. I suppose there was that companion app for Evolve that would give you an unfair advantage in game. I remember that one because of people complaining about it basically being a way to cheat the progression system. I surely did not buy that game!

tl;dr Mobile simulation games are high-risk. Companion apps are a waste of resources. In a perfect world maybe these would be nice, but in the real world it's not worth giving up the stuff that would be cut from the game.
