I’m really enjoying my time playing planet coaster console edition! I’ve actually pleasantly surprised myself when it came to picking up skill in this game, but I find the building/station making tools to be pretty insufferable. I was really looking forward to making my buildings, but I’m really fed up with the building toolkit rn. Why is it so difficult for me to snap walls together in a straight line? Anybody else dealing with the same issue?

If you are building with a grid based item they will snap in place without too much trouble. Are you sure you are using wall pieces? There are also auto stacking options in the settings for these pieces. If you are using fences, this are not grid based. For a straight line, you need the advanced move tool. This is the second tool in the options which gives the 3 coloured arrows. You set the active axis with arrow buttons and then move with the joystick. Using this you can drag out lines of them piece by piece.
