Planet Coaster crashing every ten minutes - Autosave bug

I cannot play this game for more than ten minutes, unless I want to build nothing, but seeing as how the whole game is about building, it crashes by default every ten minutes. I can't even build my first coaster because it crashes every time the game attempts to autosave. I was having such a good time, because last night I could play for maybe 10 minutes to up to an hour between crashes, but it's just not working anymore. I've already submitted a ticket with the DxDiag and have gotten no response. Are they done supporting this game because Planet Coaster 2 is eventually coming out? I'm not interested in buying a brand new game for an experience I could get right now, with a game I've already bought. Every. Ten. Minutes. I've submitted dozens of crash reports. It's getting sooooooooooooooooooooooo old. I reinstalled the Nvidia Drivers, I disabled the Steam Overlay, I turned the graphics down to medium, despite being able to play at 60 FPS on ultra, I've tried Windows 7 compatibility mode, I set the priority to high in the task manager. Nothing works. The game doesn't run. I'm beyond frustrated, I just want to play the game I bought. If there was anything comparable, I would be running to it by now and probably never look back. The game is fantastic, but it doesn't run for more than ten minutes, and I lose all of what little progress I can make in those ten minutes everytime it crashes. Will this ever be fixed or will I have to wait for PC2?

I would like to apologize for my tone, I'm embarrassed by the way I complained. It's very demoralizing to keep losing my progress and not be able to play this awesome game.

Understand your frustration, but remember that many people DO play the game without these same problems, and while the game does have it's quirks, it's not necessarily what's behind this one...

How big is the park bench you are building on? Large, detailed parks are known to sometimes have trouble when being saved, and will crash. I myself have this issue often. A couple ways around it I've found is to 1) change the interval between auto-saves to be longer (

), and 2) if a popup shows saying that the game has quit working and asking if you want to submit a report by clicking on one button - instead click on the other and almost always after a couple minutes the game will start playing again. It's not ideal, but it's saved a lot of work that otherwise would have been lost...

Seems like you've already tried all the other things I've seen suggested.

You know now that I look at it, my first coaster may be too big. I removed the three tv screens that were playing default park ads like chief beef on the food stalls and that helped quite a bit. The coaster was not supposed to be quite so sprawling, but I kept trying to make it rideable.

So I deleted the coaster and it still crashed. I have found that my CPU is running really hot on this game, sometimes that happens with other games, but nothing like Planet Coaster, and it wasn't happening on previous updates. And unlike other games where if my CPU gets too hot, my whole computer crashes, this just crashes the game. Maybe it's just eating too much of my CPU's processing power?

EDIT
I just looked up a normal CPU tempurature while idle and while gaming, and my CPU is within those ranges. about 35-37 idle, and 75 or so while gaming, which thewiredshopper says is normal. But the resource usage is way up there. It's using about 30% of my CPU on average while playing.

Hey, just a quick update. We got the game working! I turned on the X.M.P feature in my bios, which allocates more resources to my RAM, thus taking the load off my CPU. It went from 30% usage down to 20%, and I tested it for an hour while having Youtube going in a second monitor, which would certainly have crashed the game within minutes, and there were no problems. It even runs better in general, so thanks to the support team for working with me on this over the past few days, I'm thrilled I get to play this now.

EDIT
Nevermind. It's still crashing. I'm done.
