WOO just 3 hours late cause of reasons and timezones yayyy..
I haven't seen anybody on stream use the advanced rotation for walls and stuff, so. Is that coming?
 
If I am correct, today is supposed to be about blueprints and sharing, so here is my question:

If we copy the blueprint for a coaster or flat ride, can we also include:

1. The buildings
2. The necessary terrain
3. The scenery
4. Any other items that makes the theme of the ride.

As far as sharing -

Can we share a park, and if so how?

One thing I would like to know that is not about blue prints or sharing is will we be able to use our own custom park entrances and place them where we want with a custom peep spawn point, or are we going to be limited to the ones that are already there?

If you saw in the community streams there was a blueprint coaster with building pieces around it.

I think the path system isn't ready enough. But who cares? There lot of things that should be done! But in which stream they talk about path?

Can we import our own content via Blueprints like our own models?

So.. Custom Scenery? Or like buildings, terrain creations, etc. If custom scenery, I don't think we will need a lot of that by final release. Probably can't even make CS rn. I haven't seen anything about it, so rip CS til' we get bored of everything about spicy PC!

ahh! thx for pointing out! hopefully they will appear in the final game!
 
An interesting tidbit from the stream was the ability to combine/merge buildings through the blueprint feature and then have them as one object. This makes sense but I would like to see the merging option in editing, not having to do blueprints each and every time.

Also, there will be the option to rotate props according to two different grids. Object and world/park.

They said that complex buildings with multiple grids could be saved in a blueprint as one building, but when placed will become separate grids again. They will not remain one grid after placement.
 
Before making the final placement you can, but once it is placed you can not because after the final placement they are no longer one building grid. I hope that clears it up.
 
Bit worried about when De-Lady-signer tried to save her castle as a blueprint, it said there were too many objects :/

The limit is 500 pieces, which means that complex buildings wont really be shareable :( kinda worrying

Hiya, don't be worried; the "limit" is still not set; we are constantly testing how far we can take it and how we can optimise everything. This applies to any aspect in the game, especially being in Alpha 3 ;). You'll have a true number with the final release of Planet Coaster.
