Planet Coaster Future Suggestions For Realism

For starters I will say that this game is absolutely stunning and blows all other park sims out of the water in most cases. For me there are just a couple of things I feel would make this game even better in the future and would love to see to add more Realism!!

1. Allow the Sprint 500 Trains to be used on the Zenith track! I love the style of track the Zenith uses similar to Kingda Ka and Top Thrill Dragster, But I like the Sprint 500 Trains a lot better!

2. Add in the ability to have switch tracks on coasters for maintenance bay areas! All coasters have them! And allow the player to add in a train or remove one depending on crowds without closing the coaster all together! just like in real life!

3. Add extra breakdowns for Coasters! Lapbar issues, Wheel Bearing, Brakes not working properly, and other breakdowns that can happen and allow the specific train to be put into the maintenance bay for a mechanic to service!

4. Let the age of the rides be a factor in breakdowns, In real parks sometimes companies close or stop support on older models of Coasters making parts hard to find and/or very expensive! Some parks elect to remove rollercoasters for this reason. Would be a cool factor to add! Do you keep a ride you designed and pay out the wahoo or remove it? Maybe certain parts could break for this feature?

5. A possibility but add an extra 1-2 operators to walk the station and just check everyones restraints and then give the operator the go ahead to start the rides and coasters. Most rides have multiple workers at them. Maybe even just have them walk and eyeball check the restraints instead of checking each one individually to save time and make it less of a pain to implement. Not a huge deal but would be really cool!

6. Add more business simulation and park management to the game for more realism. Maybe even competing parks not that far away to allow for coaster wars kinda like how Cedar Fair and Six Flags are always trying to 1up each other?

7. More pre made parks and terrains, One of the things I loved about the Rollercoaster Tycoon series was the pre made scenarios and scenery. It provided a challenge on where to put rides and paths. Planet Coaster has a couple that are good.
Pirate Cove & Battle, Oak Island and The Raceway were awesome examples of the realism aspect! I really liked Back From the Brink, I loved the business side of getting a failing park and turning it around and making it successful. I didn't care for the other scenarios because they didn't seem realistic to me. More parks or pre made terrains in the future would be awesome but not a super huge thing for me as I can at least download other ones from Steam thankfully!

Those are really the only issues I have with this game and they are not really issues more like big suggestions. So far this game has great developers and an awesome community surrounding it. I feel like implements like the ones above along with the theme makers toolkit, and possibly even just a few more rides added would help cement this games legacy even more. Would love to hear some feedback from any Devs also on this! Great job on Frontier for making such a great game I had to build my own PC cause I just had to play it!!!

If anyone has any other suggestions for added realism please comment below!!!!! [yesnod]

It would also be cool to add certain weather elements like wind or rain that could potentially cause a rollback on the Strato Coasters. But as of right now the launch does not have breaks incorporated so when the coaster rolls back down the hill it currently just slams the station.

Weather is one aspect that they have said they are not putting into the game for performance reasons.

Ah that stinks but is understandable. Maybe they could incorporate some kind of weight distribution issue on the strata coasters to cause a rollback. Like too many adults on it at once or something?

Or have certain wind effects above 250-300 Feet, It could maybe manually effect the friction multiplier every once in a while to add that effect.
