Planet Coaster has the best terrain tools i've ever seen in a game, but it would be amazing if we had a Slope tool and Physics water too (like in Cities Skylines)

Then the terrain would be 10/10 instead of 9.5/10 [big grin]

Yeah, there would be very helpful if there were some pre-made shapes like cubes and globes with size options to build ground with. For those hard and complicated moments in detailing landscaping and sculpturing.

I like the terrain tool but I also feel there could be more. It is a very powerful tool but something just seems off about it. I liked how the terrain would snap paths in RCT3. It also irritated the ❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎ out of me the terrain doesn't change outside the park boundary. Slopes would be a nice addition and may solve the dreaded path and terrain fight we currently have

Yeah, this was my biggest struggle since Alpha2. Paths relations with terrain. Path not able to affect the terrain for creating tunnels or lowering the terrain for making a path under another path or a low track adjacent to a coaster station. And the possibility to create a path up in the air and fill up with terrain afterwards that, as you mention, snap to the path. Also being able to make a flat bridge straight out of a cliff without any slopes. [yesnod]

This +1. Definitely need auto-tunnel for paths.

I 2nd this. Paths drive me nuts with terrain... Only thing that I can honestly say that bugs me about playing the alpha.

There is an auto tunnel feature for paths - it's just not switched on, and you need to edit one of the config xml files - it works quite well, it does have a few problems, but it's much easier than carving your own tunnel first.

The ability to add a nice crisp edge would be awesome. Sometimes you just don't want the natural look of the curves.

I just want the smooth tool to actually smooth things! That is the part of the terrain editor that irritates me the most. It does not behave the way I think it should, and it does not smooth out curves over its radius like it should. Getting smoothing working better should solve the slopes concern nicely.
