Still new to the game here (301 hours so far!) and of course, still figuring things out as I go. When I start up PC, the home screen has the picture of Earth with all the players wearing gold crowns. Perhaps I hit an option during set up or something, but how does the game figure out who to show on that screen? Is that people who are playing right now? Why are they all wearing the same hats (except me; I had a brown hat now I switched over to the Alligator hat)?
On a related note, I will sometimes see a player in my game. I think they were usually wearing a gold construction hat. Is that person virtually visiting my game and actually able to ride my rides on their screen? There is also a prompt for me to sign up for one of these gold construction hats. Is there a reason I should do that, or just simple fun?
