I've been following Planet Coaster since before the Alpha was released and have loved seeing what's possible with it. I posted on the PC subreddit some time ago about the idea of creating some custom music for the game, starting with the idea of rearranging the main theme. I don't actually own Planet Coaster yet due to not having the money to buy or time to play it, but have enjoyed lurking in the community and seeing what people have made so far.
Anyway, I don't get much free time these days and haven't been able to spend much of that time making music, but in light of Alpha 3's release I thought I would share some clips of what I made whilst I could. I have other styles in the making too but I'll work on those when I get more time (and I know Spooky isn't in as a theme yet but I was keen to work on it). The tracks are quite bare and far from complete, I still want to add a lot more to them, and what you hear is completely unmixed, just some basic levels to balance volume a bit. Part of the intention was to make the song sound completely different but largely keep it the same, I won't bore you with the details but I'm sure you can pick out the differences and similarities.
Also, I know that custom music isn't a feature right now and there's been word on how difficult it is to do but I'm sure it'll be implemented by the full release.
Any feedback, comments or suggestions are welcome, especially since these are in their early stages.
