Planet coaster ps5 and intercepting terrain.

When I try to place a coaster on flat terrain I get a message saying intercepting terrain and I'm unable to place the coaster.

How can I stop this from happening?

I'm using the ps5 version.

You could try to raise it slightly to see if that helps. The coaster could be trying to go below ground and that would make it unable to place. You can adjust settings in the settings menu that should allow you to override a lot of those too. I am also a console player. Best of luck.

As Powline said, you'll want to go into settings and check off the 'Disable Terrain Collisions". That should let you place the coaster. (though stations themselves generally have a small collision obstacle until you are fully clear of the ground, ie, you have to go further up or down or away from hillsides until the station is clear)
