Planet coordinates?

Have they (frontier) messed up how latitude and longitude are calculated on planets now? im sitting in merope 5c and my latitude wont go above 88degrees my longitude also increases with the rotation of the planet when im at normal movement speed in my ship, this is an error as my ship should be within the gravity of the planet. Shouldnt it? i can understand super cruise being different but this is normal thruster movement, i cannot thrust in a straight line ie i cannot hold 90 degrees i have to keep moving the joystick to compensate, this isnt normal it constantly drifts to the right as if the planet was actually flat and not spherical. someone else confirm this please im going out of my mind trying to figure out if its just me.

sorry to bump this, but this needs to be confirmed before i submit it as a bug, Longitude and Latitude seem to be mixed up.

I agree something has broken the co-ordinates on planets. Please fix this it is impossible to travel on the surfaces with this issue.

I believe latitude and longitude were reversed in 2.0/2.1 and are now switched. There's an entry in the patch notes regarding it which may serve as better info for you as I'm not 100% positive of the specifics or the reasoning. I'm only aware because it came up in the mystery thread.
