Planet Earth Pack

I know frontier has used the 7 continents for all there other packs but what if they use 1 animal from each continent from this pack

Africa: Baboon
Asia: Leopard (Indian or Amur either one is fine
Antarctic: Leopard Seal
North America: Elk
South America: Spectacled Bear
Australia: Blue Bellied Black Snake: Exhibit
Europe: European Wild Boar

This isn’t one of my best ideas but I hope it gets taken into consideration

It's a good idea too! When the time comes for content to end, this could be a good theme for a pack. What would be in it would depend on what else will come out in the meantime though. But I like your choices.

Elk aren't the best representative for North America, as the species originated in East Asia and migrated to North America about 15,000 years ago. I'd personally go for a mountain goat or a wild turkey to better represent the continent.

I personally like the idea of 1 per continent/region and can see it as realistic dlc. I’m not very invested in Antarctica animals so I’d rather pick somewhere such as India.
I’d like it to include animals unique to their continent.
NA
I was going to suggest Elk but after reading above I’d suggest coastal mountain goats as they are the true antelope of NA
SA
sloth (I love spectacled bears but Xenarthras are more unique to SA)
Africa
We need a baboon
Asia
Amur leopard or takin
India
Indian leopard
Austaila
Tree kangaroo or wombat

I like the idea :) My list would be:

1. Africa: Red river hog.
2. Middle east: Hamadryas baboon.
3. Europe: Red deer.
4. Asia: Amur leopard, or if the leopard comes in a dedicated Asia pack: Wolverine.
5. Oceania: Tasmanian devil, or if the devil comes in an Oceania animal pack: Eastern grey kangaroo (which would probably be skipped in favor of other animals in an Oceania animal pack).
6. South America: Capybara, or if the capybara comes in a tropical / rainforest biome pack: +Emerald tree boa.
7. Central America: +Eyelash viper / Nine-banded armadillo.
8. North America: American black bear / bighorn sheep. Another sheep or another bear, but iconically North American.

I picked animals that have appeal, but that wouldn't necessarily be a headliner animal for their own region. In cases where they could headline, I picked a replacement species.

It's a nice Idea and the List of Animals is also great. But sadly Leopard Seals are only kept as Rescue Animals. I'd like another antarctic Seal or a second antarctic Penguin Species

I know I already responded but throwing out my list as if we were doing this right away. Though I hope and suspect at least some of these animals will come some other way

South America - Capybara
North America - Wolverine
Europe - Red Deer
Asia - Amur Leopard (I'd prefer the ASCO but I do think getting a Leopard is essential)
Africa - Red River Hog
Australia - Common Wombat. So many to choose from but I had to go with my most wanted and disregard the several that the community wants more.
Antarctica - Leopard Seal - I know they're only kept as rescue animals, but there's not a lot to choose from here.

1. Africa: Red river hog
2. Asia: Gibbon
3. Europe: Porcupine
4. Australia: Wombat
5. NA: Coati
6. SA: Maned wolf
7. Arctic: Wolverine

Going a bit out-of-the-box since I hope a lot of the bigger wishlist animals would have been covered already:
North America: Common raccoon
South America: Sunbittern
Europe: Red deer
Asia: Francois' langur
India: Blackbuck
Africa: Sulcata tortoise
Oceania: Black swan
Islands: Coconut crab (exhibit)

I thought about what a Pack with Birds from each Continent (and a Island because Animal Packs have 8 Animals) might look like

North America: Prairie Chicken
South America: Amazilia hummingbird (Exhibit Animal) (really wanted a Hummingbird for South America and at least in Europe this seems to be the most commonly kept one)
Europe: Western capercaillie
Asia: Green Peafowl
Africa: Marabou
Australia: either Lyrebird or Australian brushturkey (I'd really love it to have them living together with my Kangaroos)
Antarctica: either Adelie Penguin or Gentoo Penguin
New Zealand: North Island Brown Kiwi

When I saw the thread title, I thought this would be a pack about the 2006 Planet Earth nature documentary. If it's alright, I'm going to run with this and choose a species from each of the eleven episodes that could make up a single pack.

1. Baikal teal - These pretty little ducks appeared in the first episode, 'Pole to Pole', where the world's entire population was filmed in a single flock
2. Either gelada or Himalayan monal - Both appeared in the 'Mountains' episode; the gelada had a more major role but the monal would add a splash of colour
3. Nile crocodile - A reskin species, but its hunting behaviour was filmed in slow-motion for the first time in the 'Fresh Water' episode
4. Texas cave salamander - The pack's exhibit species, being the only animal from the 'Caves' episode that is kept in captivity and suitable for the game
5. Dromedary camel - Not my most desired pick, but it is the most unique animal that featured in the 'Deserts' episode not already in the game
6. Musk oxen - A new North American species which would add another tundra animal; they featured in the 'Ice Worlds' episode
7. Pygmy hog - One of the unexpected highlights of the 'Grasslands' episode, this endangered species is being bred in captivity for reintroduction to the wild
8. Bolivian squirrel monkey - From 'Jungles'; this animal, which only appeared briefly, would add another South American species
9. Southern elephant seal - From 'Shallow Seas'; although rare/absent in captivity currently, they are very different to anything else in the Planet Zoo game
10. Amur leopard - The most charismatic of the species from 'Seasonal Forests', although other options could include the red deer, mandarin duck or wolverine
11. Green sea turtle - The only semi-aquatic, non-flying species from the final episode 'Ocean Deep'

I agreed with the baboon part. And if Planet Zoo will have one more bear species, then it'll have to have ALL eight bear species and sometimes a few subspecies of each species like the brown bears.

Next Penguins please. I think there are only 18 Species and at least 1 or 2 Species aren't kept in Captivity at all🙃
Or Camels. Still need the Dromedary, the Quanaco, the Vicunja and both Alpaca Breeds🙃
Or even easier, give us the Somali Ostrich. This would complete the Ostriches If we don't count Subspecies too

I had the same thought!

Since all continents except Antarctica and other part of Asia were taken for DLC pack names/titles, here're the ideas of an upcoming pack I'm hoping and expecting for. [* = Most hoped for. Anyone understand?]
By Continents
  • North America: Wolverine
  • South America: Armadillo (whichever species could last and breed in zoos in real-life)
  • Europe: either red fox or red deer
  • Africa: *African leopard (that'll complete the Big Five set along with African native rhino)
  • Asia: *Gibbon species like lar gibbon
  • Australia: Either eastern grey kangaroo or any wallaby species
By Biomes
  • Desert: *Dromedary camel
  • Grassland: *African leopard (that'll complete the Big Five set along with African native rhino) (That could also/maybe be tropical biome where it hunt gorillas and okapis)
  • Tropical: *Gibbon species like lar gibbon
  • Temperate: Wild boar
  • Taiga: Wolverine
  • Tundra: Walrus
  • Aquatic: Either green sea turtle, dugong or West Indian manatee
By Animal Groups
  • Even-toed ungulate: *Dromedary camel
  • Odd-toed ungulate: Other horse species beside zebras, like Przewalski's horse
  • Carnivoran mammals: *African leopard (that'll complete the Big Five set along with African native rhino)
  • Primate: *Gibbon species like lar gibbon
If eight in a pack:
  • Marsupial: Either eastern grey kangaroo or any wallaby species
  • Bird: Rockhopper penguin
  • Reptile: Either green sea turtle, lace goanna or perentie
  • Exhibit: Either any mantis, cobras or toads (Those yet to be in that game.)
Any questions?

I too like dromedary. And what penguins aren't kept in captivity at all?
