Planet generation question.

I was just wondering if planet generation take in account details such as distance from it star, the type of star, the size of the star, which stage the star is during it life style.

Also when we get planetary landings will the life forms take the above into account and plus things like whether it has multiple moons or more or less gravity than Earth.

As far as I'm aware yes, those things are exactly what determines the composition on the planet.
All of those factors are generated procedurally.

For the distances and composition / type of stars and planets, the game reproduces our galaxy as accurately as possible. For life on the planets, how can we know ? Thargoids really exist ?
