Planet orbiting "nothing"

Klemperer Rosettes! I learned something new, in that I didn't realize there was a name for this. Thanks!

Something I learned long ago from a sci-fi writer, Larry Niven, the Puppeteer Fleet of Worlds is a mobile civilisation based on wandering planets arranged in a Klemperer Rosette.

A Klemperer rosette is basically a string of objects all sitting in each other's mutual Lagrange points, helping keep the arrangement stable.

All the objects in a Klemperer Rosette share the same orbital parameters (radius, orbital period, eccentricity). The Pareco stations are obviously not in such an arrangement, as they are all in different orbits.

We don't know the mass of the Pareco comet (though it shouldn't be too hard to work out, from the orbital periods). It could be hundreds of km across, the size of a "potato planet" in ED. In which case, it should have plenty of mass and having half a dozen stations orbiting it in "normal" orbits would be perfectly fine.
