Thanks for your feedback and making us aware of your feelings regarding the change to the rocks counting towards terrain requirements.

We completely agreed with your feedback as it, unintentionally, affected a lot of previous work; so we want to let you know it has been reverted back to what how it worked previously.

That is: rocks will no longer impact the terrain requirement for your animals. You are once again free to use however many rocks you would like!


This revert has not impacted Update 1.0.2.

Considering how fast you react to feedback and how hard you all work, I'm close to writing love letters to you. Really appreciate, but please y'all take care of yourself and remember you all have a well deserved life outside the studios. We need you around a little longer, burn outs won't help anyone.

Just a side note: In this thread here the "rock update" is called 1.0.2.1 but in the steam update news this update is called 1.0.3.
Maybe this could be misunderstood by some people if this update is called by a different name here and on other plattforms.

But besides of that, thank you Chante and the rest of the team for those updates. :) Hope you get rid of the connection issues with the franchise server, too.

I wonder if only rocks that are traversable for the animals in the habitat (as shown differently for each individual animal on the heatmap) counting towards terrain would satisfy both sides.
