Planet Zoo 2: Subspecies and breeds Meta-Wishlist

Welcome to the Planet Zoo 2 Subspecies & breeds Meta-Wishlist, a sister project to the brand new Planet Zoo 2: 200 Animal Species Meta-Wishlist.

After some debate, it was decided that the main list would not account for subspecies or domestic breeds and species would be the universal category.
However, we are aware that PZ has introduced specific subspecies of certain animals and that there is a general demand in the community to be more specific about these.
So this is the place where we can all together decide what are the most popular subspecies or breeds of said animals, on the basis that they would be added to the game.

A list of animals from which you can vote for your favourite subspecies or breed has been selected based on what the community has historically demanded. Bear in mind that this is arbitrary, but still carefully thought to account for as many of these as possible.

The list of animals is:
1. African buffalo
2. Asian elephant
3. Asiatic wild ass
4. Bighorn sheep
5. Brown bear
6. Cougar
7. Giraffe
8. Leopard
9. Lion
10. Moose
11. Plains zebra
12. Takin
13. Tiger
14. Wolf
15. Cattle breed
16. Chicken breed
17. Donkey breed
18. Goat breed
19. Horse breed
20. Pig breed
21. Rabbit breed

22. Sheep breed

And the rules are simple: submit a list with a chosen subspecies or breed for each of the above animal categories.

Isn't giraffe a genus?
Also, you didn't include some of the species that are already represented by subspecies in game (such as chimpanzee, Western gorilla, American bison, and I think more importantly Asian Black Bear). Is that voluntary?
Also also, do I understand correctly that we can only pick one single subspecies/breed for each of those?

I knew the first answer would be nitpicking.
I specifically wrote "Bear in mind that this is arbitrary", because even what we call subspecies is still debatable to this day. It's never gonna please everyone, but it attempts to work for the majority, it shouldn't be that hard.

This being said, I'll address your comments as they're constructive:
Isn't giraffe a genus?
It is not clear even for taxonomists. There is no consensus. The IUCN still lists 9 subspecies within a single species.
Also, you didn't include some of the species that are already represented by subspecies in game (such as chimpanzee, Western gorilla, American bison, and I think more importantly Asian Black Bear). Is that voluntary?
Yes, it is voluntary.
-Chimpanzee. I haven't seen a single person request a different subspecies. People don't care what subspecies of chimpanzee is added.
-Gorilla. For this one there is more consensus that there are two separate species, the Western gorilla being one of them.
-American bison. Do people really care what subspecies?
-Asian Black Bear. Do people really care what subspecies? If anything, people have been requesting a genertic Asian Black Bear xD

Also also, do I understand correctly that we can only pick one single subspecies/breed for each of those?
Yes: "submit a list with a chosen subspecies or breed for each of the above animal categories".

African Buffalo should include both the Cape and Congo Buffalo
