Hello Zookeepers!

The Planet Zoo Beta has now come to a close and what an experience it has been! The creativity you have shown in your animal habitats and zoo layouts has been an absolute joy to witness!

You've have all been incredible with the feedback and reports you have shared with us and thanks to your efforts we were able to introduce three updates (and one update of an update) to help resolve some of the most important issues raised during the Beta. We will continue using your feedback in the next few weeks ahead of launch to make sure that Planet Zoo on 5 November is the best it can possibly be! Of course, we'll continue the hard work even after launch as well.

Over the next few weeks we'll do our best to keep you posted about all things Planet Zoo; there's still stuff to talk about and we want to keep hearing from you! You are still welcome to share any feedback you have remaining here and include any suggestions or wishlist items you might have here.

Also, do make sure to tune in every Friday on our Facebook channel for our Facebook Friday sessions and say hello in the chat.

Thank you again for an amazingly informative and fun two weeks! We can't wait to see the amazing zoos you create this November!

Fortunately, my beta was relatively stable and I was able to play without too many crashes.

We did not get many dev responses towards the end of the beta, which I completely understand. BUT I, and a large portion of the player base, would really love an answer to the the question of wether or not there will be an option to slow down time in yhe final release. The lack of a response despite many, many people discussing it and expressing that the speed makes it impossible to truly enjoy the game, is concerning. So please, please take just a few minutes to clarify if you will have a slower option for final release.

We've been responding to comments every single day, Jamie :)

We are aware of the feedback regarding in-game time and we will look into it now that Beta has closed.

Thanks!

Oh no! I am still in game. I cannot leave my zoo, there is still so much work to do, look they need me!!! ;)
It was a great time, I came a few days late to the beta, but still could discover lots of stuff, learned a lot about the possibilities and they seem endless. so looking forward to the release day. have fun "catching all those little bugs ( if you need help tell me and I will send my 4 cats they are expert bug hunters )

Thank you very much for that great beta time - it's really sad to leave the zoo behind and wait for some time to be able to get back into the game... And I totally can't get the soundtrack out of my head :) A wonderful reminder of the time at Gamescom and I really enjoyed every minute :)
Thanks and a great time (even if it's busy for the Planet Zoo team now)!!

Thankyou for the Beta test in which i managed to get 63 hours play time . Mainly it was stable after the first few days for me but like others i reported quite a few bugs , some of which broke my zoos and i had to start with a new one , All in all i had a great time and really look forward to the full build

Thank you for this amazing beta. I hope you have enough info to improve the things that could be better and fix the things that don't work so we can get the best game possible. November can't come fast enough.

the game needs rides and roller coasters or a better way of making money like other tycoon games. also i would like to see yall bring back the way to buy animils like in rct3 and zoo tycoon. and do away with the f2p like currency. and change the way you research back to the way it was in planet coaster.

Just one big positivity post, 'cause I feel you guys deserve that too. ^^ Here we go!

Thank you Frontier team for letting us play this fun Beta! I think I was one of the fewer ones that had quite the smooth gaming experience. It crashed twice, and I played it like... a lot. ;) There were some minor bugs, but you were constantly on it at all times! I hope everything gets fixed for the release. :) Also, major thanks for listening to the feedback and making the changes the player wants. You guys are the best.

I've grown up with the tycoon games and to see it evolve - in graphics and simulation - means so much. I love the fact that I can be endless creative in this game, see the animals up close with great definition and really, I mean really, go deep in the simulation system. It is a challenge, but it is a game where you learn - about animals and management - and I love it! Here are some photos of my small zoo that I honestly was quite proud of, haha.

Oh, and a small tip for people struggling to get money still; I found that the smaller I start, the better the money. Don't build drink, food or even info stalls until your fourth habitat. You'll lose way to much money on running costs and staff... Anway! CAN'T WAIT TILL 5TH OF NOVEMBER! <3
