Planet Zoo Biomes

We already know that there will be 6 types of biomes : Desert, Grassland, Tropical, Temperate, Tundra and Taiga and in the grassland one, the 6 continents will be available ; so do you think the biome will change between the continents and do you think that all of the continents will be availables for each biomes ?

It might be that I'm way to tired to understand this, but are you basically asking if there will be snow in africa? :D But now that I research even that is possible in reality.

Basically, I think it all depends on the animals we get what biomes will be catered on what continent. We shouldn't keep our hope up to high, though. There will probably be biomes that are underrepresented, just like as there are continents that will be, because the animals might come later in a DLC. Speaking of Australia, Arctic and Antarctic here.

We don't know of any desert animals as well yet, do we? I mean beside the rumored camel.

On the globe that appears on the title screen, you could see the different biomes available on each continent. They appeared in different colors, mostly shades of green. I highly doubt that every biome will be available on every continent, which is fine with me.

I managed to find a picture of the globe as an example of this.

Gemsbok is a desert animal, technically :)
i think its the gemsbok and the african elphant, that are marked as desert (beta data). you can check the post and link of sirlacker:

https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threa...h-during-the-wait-link-in-description.526237/

he saved the zoopedia during the beta.

i wonder, what the temperature of desert would be. the grassland-biome of the beta has been ?°C-40°C. grassland and tropical are called warm in the zoopedia, desert is called HOT. so do we maybe have to cool down every habitat to fit the max 42°C even for the "hottest" animals in the desert biome?
