Planet Zoo Laptop Recommendations

Hi,

I’d really appreciate some laptop recommendations for Planet Zoo please? I’m not techy at all & don’t really know where to start.

Alright so I cannot recommend an exact laptop model because they wildy vary from country and tech changes like yearly so I can give an idea of decent performance. However without a budget I have to speculate one may not want to spend thousands for a high end system

  • As planet zoo is a demanding game you need a gaming laptop , cheap business laptops just simply cannot run the game. If gaming laptops are out of your budget then a streaming service (good internet required) called geforce now exists for low end laptops
  • Processor (cpu) - this is what should be the most important part of the laptop as planet zoo requires the best processor your budget can afford. Looking at model makes like an high end Intel i5/i7 or amd equivalent, however of course can can confuse non tech people so basically we look at the next part
  • Graphics card - Now this is why gaming laptops are needed, cheap laptops will simply not come with a graphics card because a graphics card is basically made for gaming rather than browsing the internet. The makes of graphics cards will be Nvidia or amd recommending an Nvidia card with ideally 3gb plus
  • Ram/memory - looking for at least 8gb ram or the much advised 16gb. All 3 internals - ram, graphics cards, and processor are all required to be up to standard.

I can give an example laptop however to help. A popular 'low end' gaming laptop could be the Acer nitro 5 (personally I have issues with Acer laptops but just for comparison). In the UK it is priced at £700 which is about average for a low end gaming laptop - low end is about £600-£1000 here. So the specs are:
  • Intel i5 11400h processor
  • 8gb ram
  • Nvidia 3050 4gb graphics card
