Frontier, y'all need to take advantage of Planet Zoo from a merchandising POV.
Many of us would happily buy PZ related merchandise.
Here are some ideas. Please feel free to add your own suggestions

Also, have a workshop like what Valve has for TF2 related merchandise

@tigris115, they have already made a lot of the things you suggested, if you check out the contest in the News and Announcements section of the forums you'll see them as prizes for the contest.
I even asked there if they also sell those things anywhere (no answer, at least yet, to that question).

interesting idea, personally I would not buy most of it, since I need to save money for importand things in life. so I rather save for the next DLC´s.
but a mug with a nice design -why not, mugs in PZ green with animal pictures would be cool
I also would like to get the green Waterbottle and I need a lanyard anyway so this would be something I would buy( depending on price and if shipping isn´t to pricy)

Man they could do some fun stuff with this. Imagine buying a Planet Zoo t-shirt and recieving a code to unlock that specific t-shirt for your avatar in-game. Personally I've got nothing against that kind of purchasable cosmetics.

Ok, so no DLC is paywalled by-merchandise in this alternate universe. No one should hide DLC under merchandise as that would be very scummy.
I'm merely suggesting that if you buy enough stuff, you get a DLC free as a bonus.

Oh, I'm a sucker for plushies so I'd definitely buy one (all?) of those. Also funko pops? Yes, yes, I know everyone and their mother are now a funko pop, but come on, planet zoo animal funko pops? I'd pay money for those!

I'm not really a fan of the FUNKO style so I'd do something more in the Nendoroid style.

Also, make all hats available in Team Fortress 2 and let them have unusual effects. Like imagine having a flaming pangolin hat
