Planet zoo Sand Box - Breaking Habitats

Hello, my son is having issues with PZ console (Xbox).
He enjoys the sandbox mode however after time, habitat fences / barriers (still empty of animals) begin to become damaged automatically.
Pausing the in-game time obviously helps but apart from that I cant see a option on settings to stop this.

Has anyone experienced this, if so is there a solution?
Maybe I need a Mechanic / Builder staff menber IDK.

Yes that is intended thing to happen ingame. You need Mechanic staff to check on barriers and facilities, but you can change the sandbox settings to keep it from happening at all.
IIRC it's called 'barrier deterioration' and 'facility breakage' or something.

Correct. Should be found in the management option in sandbox settings.
