GamesRadar gave a lot of games a "Best Of E3" award, including Cyberpunk 2077 and Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order ..... I don't see how something can be considered "Best Of E3" when half of the games showcased at E3 got a "Best Of E3" award. I'm not saying Planet Zoo didn't deserve it, but that the award itself is almost meaningless.

Obviously missing my point .... try this analogy :

It is the school sports day. They hold a race and 20 kids enter. At the end of it, A random parent gives 10 of the kids a "Best Of The Race" award. Now tell me, just how much value does that award actually have?

You obviously have not yet boarded the hype train. The 'actual value' of the award is irrelevant. For Planet Zoo enthusiasts 'winning' these awards is 1. good PR (externally; it attracts more followers/buyers) and 2. a hype generating experience (internally; celebrating things like this keeps current followers interested and enthusiastic).

Woooo wooooo :)

I don't think I'm gonna be spending much money on gaming this coming year :( (unless Microsoft do actually release their flight sim upgrade of course or PLanet Zoo does have an immersive in depth management part to it)

Well done Team Frontier. Congrats and well deserved. I know there will be many more to come .
And as for questioning the value of this award, it doesn't really matter. It gets people talking, it generates a buzz and promotes the game to a wider audience. That in itself makes the award worthwhile. Any promotion for this wonderful game can only be great, right?
And let's not forget that it still beat other titles (it was bound to happen ;) ). The fact it was chosen by totally objective people who are nothing to do with Frontier or the community has to be worth something.
