Animal packs I can realistically see frontier doing
Polar animal dlc
There’s still some animals in the Arctic that have not been addressed yet and remain high contenders on the wishlist.
Latin/Central American animal dlc
There’s a lot of demand for SA animals. While SA has randomly gotten animals after its build dlc, there still so much potential that 1 dedicated dlc can cross off on the meta list. SA got sloths and peccaries this year and nothing else. NA can have some small rep as well from animals such as roadrunners, Muscovy ducks and coyotes. Rheas, Andean Bear, a monkey and coatis along with a potential bird WE.
India animal dlc
India recieves some rep here and there while those animals are more frequent in other parts of SEA, I think it’s time India gets a dedicated animal dlc that can also give the Middle East some attention. Blackbucks, Golden Jackals, Cobras etc.
Australasia animal dlc
Australia, Oceania and SEA have gotten their builds. Australia has had some rep through other dlcs especially biome dlcs. I think an Australia/Oceania animal dlc would be able to wrap up that region with animals still missing. Examples include Perenties, tree kangaroos etc.
Builds I’m unsure how to predict. We have seen that a lot of build dlcs eventually get an animal dlc or vice versa.
NA: has an animal dlc, builds such as new world, Arctic, Aquatic builds seem to count.
SA: has build, no animal dlc
EU: has a build, Twilight and Classic give a EU vibe. Eurasia maybe partially European but I said counts as a EU animal dlc.
Africa: got a build for North Africa, Arid dlc is that animal dlc. The builds that came with the game as africa I think do a good enough job.
India: got a build in base game, an animal dlc seems logical.
Asia: we got an East Asian theme, non SEA animals have rarely appeared over time and now with Eurasia we get some northern/central Asian so I guess this dlc counts.
SEA: got an animal dlc and tropical is basically its build.
Australia: read above
When it comes to Antarctica, I don’t have any interest. I think we have enough penguins although Il take a type of rockhopper/macaroni. I want some new seals, I don’t support the leopard seals inclusion as I am not wild about having animals found in 1 or no zoos.
Alright enough of the logical thinking, here’s my roadmap that I want for the year
World fair dlc
Builds similar to classic build but builds made to look like you are at an expo. I got this idea while playing Anno 1800 while constructing the world’s fair. The build has banners, ribbons and flags. A free update gives us an area to have bands perform at the zoos. You can select what type of music is played that matches the theme of your zoo. New food vendors and the animals are from different areas of the world.
